Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lokoja-kogi local Government Areas have passed a vote of confidence on Political Appointees and elected officers in Lokoja-kogi local Government Areas of Kogi state, describing their leadership as exemplary and their policies as people-oriented.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of Lokoja-kogi federal constituency APC forum, Alhaji Suleiman Baba-Ali at his residence in Lokoja, on Monday, said that the stakeholders gave the endorsement during the meeting today where the elected and political Appointees were asked to made open their account of stewardship within one year in office.
The chairman added that Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo administration had given key appointments to Lokoja-kogi, a development which they said should be applauded.

He therefore commended the Executive Governor for considering Lokoja- kog people for appointments in his administration, urging him to do more for his community.
The meeting which chaired by the former commissioner of Health and presently the chairman of APC stakeholders, lokoja-kogi federal constituency and was attended by Rt. Honourable Umar Yusuf Aliyu, Speaker of the Kogi state House of Assembly, council chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon. Comrade Abdullahi Adamu, and member, House of Representative, Hon. Suleiman Danladi Aguye.
According to the chairman, the outcome of the meetings, welcomed new members and returnees to the party, as well as appraised ‘’the performance of the APC administration both at the Federal and kogi State.’’
In His own contribution, The former Assembly member, Hon. Suleman Babadoko DG, campaign organisation of Sen. Sunday Karimi revealed that his boss, has performed creditably, saying “No team will want to change a coach who has been recording victories and winning trophies.”, so, he solicited that the stakeholders should considered Sen. Sunday Karimi for second term.
The APC stakeholders Forum further declared that, going by the performances and track records of all political Appointees and elected officers, they should be commended and a vote vote of confidence was passed on them.
The leadership of APC stakeholders forum also received a PDP defector ,Hon. Abdallah Yusuf Abdullah who said he decamped considering the crises rocking his party, PDP at both national and state level, he described the APC party leadership in Lokoja/ Kogi federal Constituency under Alhaji Suleiman Baba-Ali as victorious, noting that
leadership under Baba-Ali had been winning elections, including last governorship elections in Kogi state and also receiving decampees from other political parties.
The meeting which was presided by APC leader , Lokoja/ Kogi Federal Constituency,Hon. Sulaiman Baba Ali, was attended by the speaker,Kogi state house of Assembly, Rt. Hon . Aliyu Umar Yusuf, Engineer Muhammad Danladi Yahaya Farouk, commissioner for water Resources, former federal lawmaker,Hon. Haruna Isah, Lokoja local government council boss ,Comrade Abdullahi Adamu and host of others.
