Social Democratic Party (SDP) in kogi State has elected ,Hon Ahmed Attah as its state chairman
The party elected Attah at the state congress held on Wednesday at the Party State Secretariat in Lokoja. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) supervised the congress.
Notable party members across the 21 local government areas were in attendance, include representative of the party’s Secretariat.
Hon. Idris Sofada,a Chieftain of the party from Lokoja Local Government emerged as the party’s secretary.
“This is a call to serve and I promise to give it my all so we ensure our set goals are accomplished,” Sofada told reporters.
Other members of the state working committee elected were: Yusuf Agomi Ojapa, Deputy Chairman (Okene LGA),
Emife Ronke Mercy,Women Leader (Kabba Bunu LGA),
Zakaria Ahmed Buhari, Youth Leader (Ankpa LGA) and Barrister Dugbanya David Legal Adviser from Bassa LGA.
Also elected includes: Mr Adutu Ojomebyo David, Organizing Secretary (Ibaji LGA) Jethro Ilusegun Solomon, Welfare Secretary (Mopa moro LGA)Abu Abdulaziz- Auditor among others.
