Senior Special assistant to the Governor of Kogi state on Youths and women mobilization, Lokoja/Kogi federal constituency. Hon Abdulrahman Hussain. a.k a Gentle, on Thursday presented cash donation of N10,00 to each of the 300 vulnerable individuals across Lokoja local government as part of this year’s Ramadan palliatives
Flagging off the distribution programme at the Kabawa in ward E, Hon Gentle said, the exercise which is the third, is a continuous process targeting vulnerable individuals to boost their morale.
Hon. Abdulrahman who is a philanthropist in empowering youths, women and less privileged insisted that he would leave no stone unturned to ensure provision of dividends of democracy to his community devoid of political, religious or ethnic considerations.
” I want to seize this opportunity to thank His excellency,Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for giving me the privilege to serve,which also gives me the opportunity to contribute my little quota to empowering youths, women and vulnerable persons in our community.
“This gesture is part of the annual support I usually rendered unto you to ease the daily hardship in the holy month of Ramadan.
“I implore you to use this period to pray for our leader and the executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo”. He said.
In his own remarks, APC Chairman,Hon. Maikudi Bature, thanked Hon. Gentle for the gesture which he described as timely.
He called on other political office holders to emulate Hon. Hussaini whom he described as ” worthy ambassador of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo”
One of the Beneficiary, Yahaya Ladan,thanked Hon Hussaini and prayed Allah to reward Hon. Abdulrahman Hussain Gentle.
The event was graced by APC chieftains across Lokoja local government area,women leaders ,youths and women organisations
