The Maigari of Lokoja and Chairman Lokoja local government Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi 1V, has elevated Deputy Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Ahmed Muhammad Sanusi from CIGARIN LAKWAJA to SARKIN SUDAN LAKWAJA.
In a statement signed by the royal father said that Lokoja Emirate Council elevated DCP Sanusi following his good and long existing relationship with the emirate and people of the Lokoja .
Kabir pointed out that the new Sarkin Sudan has contributed immensely to the nation, the state in the area of security, and the development of the emirate.
Part of the statement read:
“We. elevated him considering his contributions to nation building, peace and unity of the country.
Lokoja emirate council, our people and the entire state will continue to pray for your success as DCP, impactful contribution as well as effective and efficient policing of the country.”. the statement concluded.
Speaking to Newsmen at Muhammadu Buhari Square Lokoja on Monday, In response to his elevation to SARKIN SUDAN LAKWAJA, Sunusi thanked the emirate for elevating him and promised to be more involved in the palace activities as Sarkin Sudan Lakwaja.
He said that the the Maigari of Lokoja has exhibited good character and excellent behaviour toward his people and other traditional title holders in the council, as well as made an active contribution to the growth and development of the Emirate and the state in general.
