The Abubakar Ola Foundation on Saturday held its annual Ramadan support programme for 41 Chief Imams of juma’a mosque in Lokoja
Speaking,Chief Executive Officer of the foundation, Ustaz Abubakar Zakari Ola who was represented by his younger brother, Hon.Muhammad Abubakar Ola , ”During Ramadan, it is expedient that those blessed by Allah give out to the less-privileged and Islamic clerics”
He explained that the foundation decided to doled out the sum N30,000 each to 41 Chief Imams of juma’a mosque across Lokoja local government in commemoration of the holy month of Ramadan which begins Saturday,1st March,2024.
He urged Muslims to continue helping one another.
“To those who have, they should give to those who have not,” he added.
In his on remarks, Secretary of Kogi state leagues of imam , Ustaz Ibrahim Nyass Yusuf Abdullah thanked Zakari Ola for the gestures and Allah to forgive late Abubakar Ola whose the foundation was named after
Nyass called on Muslims to emulate Ustaz Zakari Abubakar Ola whom he described as ” a man with fear of Allah”
