Lokoja Local Government Chairman, comrade Abdullahi Adamu, on Monday, mourned the tragic loss of lives in a fatal truck accident which occurred in the Felele area of Lokoja.
In a statement from his office, signed by his media aide ,comrade Illiyasu Zakari, said the extended his condolences to the families of the victims affected by the accident.
He described the incident as a heartbreaking which,“ left our hearts heavy, as we mourn the loss of these souls who were full of hope and dreams.”
“I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences in light of the tragic traffic accident that occurred in Felele which resulted in a tragic loss of lives of students and other road users.
“Reports indicate that a truck suffered brake failure, resulting in the unfortunate loss of lives and injuries sustained and it is quite unfortunate that such a thing happened again. With deep sorrow, I extend my sympathies to the families of those affected. I also pray for the departed souls and the speedy recovery of those injured.”
“May the families find solace in the love and support surrounding them, and may the cherished memories of their loved ones bring them some comfort as they navigate their grief.”
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this tragic incident.” the statement concluded.
