A prominent People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) chieftain in Lokoja Local Government,Malam Abdullahi Yusuf Abdullah, a.k.a Malam BAMA, has dumped the partyfor the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.
Announcing his defection in Lokoja via a letter he personally signed, addressed to the party chairman on Friday, Abdullah thanked the PDP for the opportunities he had to served.
He explained further that:”after careful consideration, I decided that it is the best interest of personal and professional goals to step down from the party.” he said.
The letter obtained by THEANALYSTNG, addressed to the party’s Chairman reads: RESIGNATION LETTER
“Please accept this letter as the formal notice of my Resignation from The People’s Democratic Party(PDP) Kogi state from this day 29-012025.
I appreciate the opportunities I have had while serving as a member of PDP
However after careful consideration, I have decided that it is the best interest of personal and professional goals to step down from the party.
I thank you for your understanding ond I wish the party continued success in its future endeavors”
