In a grand display of royal tradition and cultural heritage,
The council of EKUZI traditional COUNCIL headed by HRH OHINOYI OF EDEGAKI ALH ISA ALHASSAN DANTANI on Thursday, December 26th,2024,conferred traditional title on one of their distinguished son of the land.
The historic city, known for its deep-rooted cultural heritage and historical hospitality played host to dignitaries from all corners of Nigeria, drawn to witness the prestigious event at the OHINOYI OF EDEGAKI’ palace, Okafi in kogi state.
The monarch honoured his illustrious son, Zakari for his exceptional contributions to the development of his community and EKUZI land as a whole.
The turbaning ceremony, steeped in royal tradition, drew high-profile dignitaries, including Daman of Lokoja, Alhaji Baba Sule,Sadauki of Lokoja, Alhaji Bama Mundi,colleagues of the celebrant among many.
Speaking to Newsmen, Sadauna of EKUZI land (Gamji Dan Kwarai), thanked Allah (SWT) for making it possible for him to witness the memorable day and how the ceremonies went peacefully.
“My profound appreciation goes to His Royal Highness,
OHINOYI OF EDEGAKI, ALHAJI ISA ALHASSAN DANTANI for finding me worthy of this honour and I want to assure his royal highness that this will spur me more towards rendering our services to the people.
“l would like to express my deep appreciation to friends, well wishers for their immeasurable support and encouragement throughout this period,” Sadauna said.
