The chairman Nigeria Motorcycle Transport Union, Lokoja local government branch, Comrade Abdulrahman Abubakar,a.k. a Baba sauti,has commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo .
The chairman gave the commendation on Monday,in his office during the ongoing Identity registration of Okada riders, tag “Kogi state compulsory identify management” organised by state ministry of transport.
Comrade Sauti said the association had followed development in state since the assumption of Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, had carried out a policy to develop the transport sector, through the ministry of transport for the good of all.
He pointed out further that Ododo had been doing well since inception, to develop the state, and “they are committed in their supports to the policies and agenda of the Governor.”
On the Identity registration of Okada riders in Lokoja metropolis,Sauti appealed to members to come out and register.
“All members must register with the union through my office, we’ve one Union and the ministry of transport issued the forms to my office as the chairman of Nigeria motorcycle transport Union,Lokoja local government branch “he said.
He warned that any member that failed to register with his office would not be allowed to operate in the state capital.
Baba Sauti commended the chairman of Lokoja Local Government,comrade Abdullahi Adamu for exhibiting good leadership style.
