The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar Yusuf on Thursday attended the 7 days Fidau Prayer for the repose of the soul of the step-mother to the member representing Lokoja I State Constituency in the Assembly, Hon Bin-Ebaiya Shehu Tijjani, in Lokoja.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by Yabagi Mohammed, CPS to the Rt. Hon.Speaker and made available to ThEANLYSTNG, on Thursday,in Lokoja.
The Fidau Prayer which took place at the deceased family residence in Karaworo, Lokoja,
was also attended by prominent sons and daughters of Lokoja, including the former speaker of the Assembly, Rt Hon. Umar. Ahmed Imam, the chairman of Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon Abdullahi Adamu and other dignitaries.
Yusuf,who prayed for eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus for the deceased, further offered supplication for the family to be able to bear the irreplaceable lost.
