One time Director of Local Government Administration, Lokoja local government, Hajiya Fatima Abubakar Agaba, on Monday organised 10 years Fida’u prayers for her late husband, Alhaji Angulu Abubakar Sule who passed away on 2nd of December 2014.
The prayers which took place at her poly Quater’s residence ,Lokoja, was attended by members of FOMWAN, islamic clerics,friends and families of the deceased.
Ustaz Khadi Bello Muhammad Bello, who led the prayer session, read some verses from the Qu’ran and Hadith, soliciting Allah’s forgiveness for late Angulu’s mistakes, while granting his soul eternal bliss.
He urged the people to pray for their late parents, husbands and dear ones saying: “The only thing they needs from us now is prayer, whether you are a family member or a sympathiser.”
Khadi Bello said that such prayers should continue even after the “fidau”, adding that all Muslims should pray for their departed family members and associates at all times.
In her remarks, window of late Abubakar, Hajiya Fatima Abubakar Agaba,expressed appreciations to all those that joined her in the Fida’u prayers for the reposed of her husband.
She described the demised of her husband as ” irreplaceable lost”
“Ten years down the line,I appreciate God for His favour to her and her daughter”
