The Etsu of Gboko, HRH. Abu Ali, has conferred traditional title of Maiyaki of Bassa Land on Dr.Yahaya Ndako Saba in recognition of his contributions to the socio-economic development of the BASSA LAND.
The traditional title, ‘MAIYAKI OF BASSA LAND’, is a revered and famed chieftaincy title in bassan Nge land .
Dr Saba,who is a lecturer with Kaduna polytechnic,is a philanthropist and educationist who contributed immensely to the development of Bassa Land and it people.
Speaking at the instillation, the paramount ruler of Bassa kingdom, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abu Ali said the title was conferred on Dr. Saba in acknowledgement his milestone contributions to the socio-economic and educational development of Bassa Nge Kingdom and the state at large.”
In an interview with newsmen,the Maiyaki of Bassa Land,Dr Yahaya Ndako Saba thanked the royal father for the confidence reposed in him
He assured the people of the area of his determination to contribute his Quater’s to the the development of bassan Nge Kingdom.
The coronation which took place on Friday at Etsu Gboloko palace was attended by friends and well wishers in and outside the state.
