Christmas Palliatives; Lokoja LGA Chairman, APC Leaders Applauds Senator Karimi, Commends his kind gestures

The Executive Chairman, Lokoja Local Government Area Comrade Abdullahi Adamu LGA has on behalf of the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the good people of Lokoja Local Government Area commended Senator Karimi Steve Sunday for donating 500 bags to Lokoja Local Government.

In a statement released by Comrade Iliyasu Zakari, the SSA on Media and Publicity to the Chairman, Comrade Adamu commended the kind gesture and urged him not to give in to distractions and detractors.
The statement reads in part:

“On behalf of the leadership of our party in Lokoja LGA we appreciate the kind gestures of Sen. Karimi, not only with this but several other programmes.”

The 500 bags of 50kg rice which were distributed were sent to all Communities in Lokoja Local Government with a mandate to ensure that the Christian Populations are given priority irrespective of their political affiliations.”

Apart from individual Christian leaders, over 40 Churches within Lokoja metropolis and suburbs were also captured and I can confirm that the rice was all in good condition.” he said.

The Council Chairman extended the sincere appreciations of the party leadership, loyalists and urged stakeholders,and party supporters to pray and encourage their representatives at all levels to be able to do more for the people.

The intentions according to Adamu “are noble and highly commendable” stressing further that”the rice came at the right time, complementing the initials 600 bags distributed by the Kogi State Government last Friday, 20th December.”

Since his election, Adamu said,Senator Karimi has shown commitment to better the life of the people especially in Kogi West and has continued to demonstrate impeccable character and empathy.
