The death has occurred of Alhaji Tanko Adamu ,the Sarkin Makera of Lokoja.
According to the deceased’s family,Adamu passed away at his Gwadabe residence on Tuesday evening after a protracted illness.
Until his death,Adamu held the traditional title of Sarkin Makera of Lokoja ( head of blacksmiths) a position he held for over twenty years.
The funeral is scheduled for Wednesday by 9 am at his residence, while interment will take place at Unguwan Kura cemetery.
A retired teacher,Adamu is survived by one wife , Children and grandchildren.
May Allah forgive him all his shortcomings, grant the families the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost. Ameen.
