Today, my administration as Principal (MCSSL) is a year old. I give praise to Almighty Allah for all he has done for the management, staff and students of this great citadel of learning. We have gone through thick and thin to get the school resurrected to its glorious days. Danko Development Forum (DDF) Lokoja, has given us reasons to celebrate by donating two block of classrooms/office to the school.
This has answered our prayers and wiped our tears for years over the non-availability of classes for science laboratory.
The school is indeed grateful for this kind gesture. It is our prayer that God will bless DANKO DEVELOPMENT (DDF) FORUM in all its endeavors.
I would like to use this opportunity to inform us that MCSSL is facing infrastructural decay and community challenges.
Most of our classes are in dilapidated conditions: No doors/windows/ceiling in most of the classes. Our classes have been turned into toilet/urinary and smoking center by hoodlums and other invaders. I want to use this occasion to appeal for a friendly community/Neighborhood. The school facilities are constantly destroyed despite all efforts made by the school to repair and keep them in good shape.
The school fence especially has been under constant attack/destruction posing security threats to lives and
properties. We are making an appeal today, this has to stop.
The best legacy a parent can WILL to his/her children is Education. Education is the bedrock for any meaningful development in the society. I appeal to all stake holders, the community heads and parents to please come to our aid so that together we can build
the future of this great school and our children.
I appreciate the love Kogi State Government has given to education by recently recruiting teachers for secondary schools in various subjects. Today, we are proud to say, we have teachers to cover most subject areas of the school. Kudos to the government for its free education program (WASSCE’24). This will ensure
every child has access to education. Your Excellency, the executive governor we pray for more of these initiatives to bring Kogi State to the top most position in the educational sector in Nigeria.
With utmost joy, I am glad to announce that our students performed excellently well in this year’s JAMB/WASSCE examinations .In addition. The school have worn many Laurels in educational competitions in the last academic session. We look forward to greater achievements and results in the new academic session (2024/2025)
