The NIGERIA IMMIGRATION SERVIC(NIS)KOGI STATE, wish to our Muslim brother and sisters that the command will undertake the construction of Juma’a Mosque that wouldn’t only serve as a juma’a congregational mosques to it officers and men only,but it’ll serve as a place of worship to the entire muslim community.
We therefore want to use this medium to appeal to our brother and sisters, all well spirited individuals to donate to able use achieve this
Everlasting Project.
MOSQUE OR MASJID A mosque is the House of Allah s.w.t. where only He is worshipped and glorified through the five daily prayers, supplementary (Sunnah) prayers, reciting the Quran, Zikir (remembrance of Allah s.w.t.) and many other good deeds. As mentioned in the Quran,
وَأَنَّ ٱلْمَسَـٰجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ أَحَدًا
“And (He revealed) that the mosques are for Allah, so do not invoke with Allah anyone.”
72:18
Various Hadith cite the Prophet (PBUH) saying: “Whoever builds a masjid for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
