Alhaji Idris Abdurahman Sofada ,Social Democratic Party(SDP) Chairmanship Aspirant for Lokoja local government council,has promised to provide dividends of democracy if given the mandate come October 19th 2024.
He made the promised on Friday at the party secretariat after he was cleared by screaming committee headed by hon Danladi Baba Budon.
Sofada,who lamented the deplorable conditions of Lokoja and environs, said his priority, if elected, would be education ,security and healthcare delivery.
The SDP candidate noted that Lokoja local government area lacked sufficient social amenities to meet the needs of the local populace, adding that his administration would address the problem if elected chairman.
“There is a lot to be done; my priority is education,human empowerment and rural development” he promised.
