The Lokoja Local Government All progressive Congress (APC) Chairman,Hon maikudi Bature has expressed appreciation to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for extending the tenure of Comrade Abdullahi Adamu as the CTC Chairman of the Local Government for another six months.
Bature made the commendations at APC Lokoja Local Government stakeholders meeting on Tuesday held in Lokoja.
This is as the CTC Chairman, Comrade. Abdullahi Adamu also expressed appreciation for the support he enjoyed from the People, particularly the APC Executives at Local and Ward Levels in the last six months of his administration.
The Chairman further said the people of Lokoja Local Government Area, are very much impressed with the performances of the Caretaker Chairman, thanked him for remembering the Executives of the APC.
“We are happy with your leadership style. We pray God to continue to elevate you. We are grateful to Gov. Ododo for your appointment in the first six months.
“We make bold to say that you did not waste the opportunity. We are thanking the Governor for allowing you to continue for another six months”.
” We want to use this medium to thank you for the paying off the rent of the party Secretariat. Mr. Chairman, you know your job. We are confident that you will do more. Let me thank the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Member, Representing Lokoja 1 State Constituency as well as Hon. Suleiman Aguye for holding the party together in Lokoja LGA”, Bature said.
In his remarks, Comrade
Adamu Abdullahi, CTC Chairman, Lokoja LGA,
thanked the Executive Members of the Party for their support in the last 6 months of his administration, disclosed that as challenging as it is was, he was able with their collective support overcame”.
Adamu, who was full of praises for the Party Executives, said he couldn’t have achieved much without the support of the people
The council boss appreciated Gov. Ododo and the people of Lokoja LGA for the support, pointing out that he enjoyed the support of the Assembly members from the area.
He praised Gov Ododo for fulfilling his campaign promises, mentioned the prompt and regular payments of salaries of LG workers.
He commended the ongoing agriculture revolution, road construction across the Local Government Areas of the state, urged the citizens to be patient with the administration, assuring that the present administration is resolved on the improvement of the well-being of the people.
The Chairman disclosed that working with other stakeholders from the local Government, his administration has been able to offset some inherited debt owed by the Council as well the five year debt owed the owner of the APC Lokoja LGA Secretariat.
