A one time senator representing Kogi East Senatorial District of Kogi state,(1999 – 2007) Alex Usman Kadiri is dead.
The late politician died an undisclosed hospital in Abuja after a brief illness at about 2pm.
Senator who hails from Odu in Dekina Local Government Council celebrated his 82nd birthday last Friday in his country home.
ThEANLYSTNG gathered from a source close to his family that he has been sick and has been in and out of hospitals at home and abroad.
The late Alex had also contested for Kogi State governorship severally without success.
