Kogi state governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has pledged to end the water scarcity in the state .
This was disclosed by the state commissioner for water Resources, Engineer Muhammed Danladi Yahaya Farouk at a press conference held on Friday in Lokoja.
He explained that since he assumed office as commissioner four months ago,efforts to resuscitate the old Lokoja water works as a temporary measures to ameliorate the scarcity of water in Lokoja metropolis have yielded positive result.
He assured kogites that the state government would fulfill its campaign promises, and urged them to give government the maximum cooperation.
