Kogi Speaker condoles with Maigari Of Lokoja over Stepmother’s Death

The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Umar Aliyu Yusuf on Sunday expressed his condolences to the Maigari Of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir, markafi 1V over the death of his step-mother, Hajia Safiat Muhammadu Kabir.

The Speaker described the death of Hajia safiat, as painful and shocking.

While speaking to newsmen during the 8 Day fidau prayers at Maigari’s palace in Lokoja, he said he also condole with the chairman and entire members of Lokoja traditional title holders, and council, and the people of lokoja community in general.

He described the late Hajia Safiat as a mother and heroine of note among women.

Rt. Hon. Umar Yusuf said though the death of late Maigari’s wife would leave a huge vacuum in Lokoja and Kogi State.

“I commiserate with my Maigari Of Lokoja and the entire family, I equally express my profound gratitude to all the dignitaries that attended the fidau prayers of our great mother”.

He prayed to Allah to grant her blessings and repose her soul in aljanat fidau, described her as a heroine for all she fought for and achieved as mother and community leader.
