The National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) on Friday 5th April, 2024 was thrown into mourning as the Acting General Manager (Corporate Affairs) Department, Jibril Darda’u passed away.
Darda’u who slumped at his residence on Friday morning was taken to Teaching Hospital Lokoja where he was pronounced dead.
Darda’u was a season Public Relations Practitioner, an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Amiable colleague and a friend to many.
He died at the age of 54 leaving behind two wives and children.
