The Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi 1V, have conferred the traditional title on two prominent son of Lokoja, Alhaji Bala Muhammad Haruna, who was conferred with the Chieftancy tittle of “SANTALI OF LOKOJA while the chairman of Danko Development Forum, Alhaji Bama Mundi was conferred as “SADAUKI OF LOKOJA”
In a letter of appointment signed by the Maigari of Lokoja said they were conferred with the titles in recognition of the spectacular roles they had been playing in promoting the ideals of Lokoja Emirate Council over the years.
According to the Royal father, the two eminent personalities had proven their worth in contributing their quota toward the socio-economic and educational development of the Lokoja Emirate Council in their respective field of human endeavour at the time when such contributions were most needed.
Kabir pointed out that the Emirate Council would continue to give honour to whom it is due stressing that the conferment of the titles would serve as a source of inspiration to those who might wish to emulate them.
He advised them continue to offer meaningful advice to the council and the emirate on issues affecting the wellbeing of the entire people in particular and the state general.
With there appointment,both SANTALI and SADAUKI have become members of Lokoja traditional title holders council.
In an interview with journalists,the thanked HRH for the honour done to them and promised to contribute their quotas towards the development of Lokoja traditional institution and it people.
