GM NIWA, Darda’u Buried Amid Tears

The late NIWA GM, Corporate Affairs, Alarama JIbril Dadau has been laid to rest at Markaz cemetery in Lokoja , Kogi state amid tears, sorrow and encomiums.

Alarama JIbril who died on the early of Friday was buried beside Late Justice Umar Farouk beside Markaz Juma’a mosque, Lokoja.

Alarama, as he is popular known ,was known for his simplicity and always identifying himself with the masses was said to have slumped and confirmed died by Drs at the federal medical centre, Lokoja,Kogi state.

Sheikh Usman Raji alongside the chief Imam of Lokoja, Sheikh Muhammadu Aminu Sha’aban led the funeral prayer of the late Alhaji JIbril Darda’u who was buried according to Islamic rites.

The late General Manager died at the age of 54 after a brief illness.

Thousands of people from within and outside the state attended his funeral as businesses shut down in the community to mourn the Alarama JIbril.

Among those who attended the funeral included; Chairman of Lokoja local government transition committee,Comrade Abdullahi Adamu,Khalifa Nurudeen Yusuf Abdullah,Grand Khadi of Kogi state ,Justice Aruwa ,members of various Islamic organisations and many more.
