Lokoja Council Boss Meet Lodge and Hotel Owners, urged them to provide adequate Security for Students lodges and hotels

In furtherance to the many strategies implemented to ensure the safety of lives and properties, the Lokoja Local Government Caretaker Transition Committee Chairman, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu on Friday met with the Lodge and Hotel owners in Felele, Adaba, Poly Village Communities in his office.

In the maiden meeting, the Chairman urged the landlords and caretakers to compliment the efforts put in place by the Local Government to provide security for student lodges and useful information to the relevant security agencies.

Comrade Abdullahi Adamu appeal to the Lodge and Hotel Owners to cooperate with the security agencies in the ongoing operations necessitated by the surge in crimes in students communities. He urged them to look into organizing themselves to form an association for easy coordination.

One of the contributor and director of Shiroro Hotel, High Chief Ozo commend the Chairman for the recognizing that they have a role to play. He applaud the brilliant idea noting that it is unprecedented and novel.

The Chairman thanked them for honoring the invitation on short notice stressing that in the coming days, invitations will be sent for an expanded meeting with Estate Chairmen, Lodge owners/caretakers, Community leaders and representatives from Sarkin Noma, Felele, Adaba, Poly Village etc
