The Lokoja Indigenous Publishers/Bloggers (LIPB), on Tuesday, visited the Maigari of Lokoja, HRH Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi 1V.
The LIPB’ visit to the Royal father palace was to felicitate with him on his appointment as the 7th Maigari of Lokoja.
While welcoming the delegations, Maigari said he would keep up with the good works and walk in the blue prints and legacy of his predecessors.
He expressed his gratitude to indigenous publishers for their support during his turbaning and coronation as the 7th Maigari of Lokoja
Kabir maintained further that he’s more than willing to work with the entire people of Lokoja irrespective of their tribe or religion to make a positive impact.
The Monarch, who was highly elated by the visit, thanked the members of the LIPB leadership and their members for their contribution to him coronation.
In a related development, the traditional ruler promised to ensure that peace and harmony continue to exist in his Chiefdom.
He said his present position as Maigari of Lokoja, he is closer to the people and has better ideas for solving community crises, which will result in continuous peace and unity in Lokoja local government area.
The delegation was led by it chairman, Alhaji Amuda Dan Sulaiman, Hon muhammad Yabagi,Chief press secretary to the speaker Kogi state House of assembly and Hon Muhammad Bashir of New Telegraph Newspaper.
