Light Up Movement suspends protest after meeting with Momoh

A pressure Group based in kogi state,Light Up Movement, who embarked on protest against the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, Lokoja Kogi state, due to what they described as poor service delivery has suspended the protests following a meeting with the representative of the management from Abuja, Comrade Segun Omeiza Momoh.

Chairman LUM,Comrade Zakari Illiyasu told journalists that the meeting had been fruitful and conversations were held around the demands made by the movement

According to Illiyasu, LUM decided to call off the protests after Comrade Momoh made commitments on the demands of the group assuring the group that AEDC would improve power supply and other measures aimed at addressing the epileptic power supply within Lokoja and environs.

Comrade Illiyasu thanked the people for their support and assured them that they’ll not reliant until AEDC Meet all their demands.
