“A GENTLE SOUL GOES HOME : Sen. Smart Adeyemi and community mourn the Demise of Honourable Adesayo Yahaya Ismail”.

In a heartbreaking turn of events, the shocking and sudden passing of Honourable Adesayo Yahaya Ismail, the former state treasurer for the APC and the immediate past commissioner for Special duties in Kogi State, has left Senator Smart Adeyemi and the entire community in a state of grief.

Following this unfortunate tragedy, Senator Adeyemi has described the death of Honourable Adesayo as heart breaking and extremely painful. He stated that this untimely demise is a huge loss to the Ismail family, his friends, the party and the state at large and has created a vacuum that will be difficult to fill.
Speaking on the personality of Honourable Adesayo, Senator Adeyemi described him as an open-minded man who played politics devoid of bitterness. He recalled with nostalgia how Adesayo welcomed him during his home coming to the APC, with kindness and genuine warmth.

He further noted that the late Adesayo was fiercely loyal, highly committed, characteristically humble, jovial, always demonstrated integrity, very friendly and a disciplined party man with a unique capacity to create and nurture lasting relationships with everyone around him.

Speaking from his Office, Senator Adeyemi said : “I extend my deep and heart felt sympathy to his immediate family, his close friends, the people of Aiyegunle-Gbede, Ijumu Local Government, and his party associates. It is my prayer that the Almighty God consoles those who are most affected by this painful transition. May God’s grace sustain everyone at this trying time. Let us however, take Solace in the knowledge that he lived a good life”.
