Lokoja Local Government staff under the leadership of Director of local government administration, Alhaji Aliyu Isah and the LG Treasurer, Hon Isah Adoga Akoriko, on Wednesday organised 40 days Fidau prayer for the reposed of former Lokoja Local Government Council Chairman, late Hon. muhammad Danasabe Muhammad who passed away
On November 9,2023.
The event held at Local Government Council Mosque, Lokoja, was presided over by the chief Imam of Lokoja, Sheikh Muhammadu Aminu Sha’aban and sheikh Muhammad Adamu,the chief Imam of Unguwan Kowa mosque, Lokoja,respectively.
Sheikh Sha’aban who led the prayers,prayed for the reposed of Muhammad Danasabe Muhammad, described him as a leader whose work would continue to be remembered.
He admonished leaders to serve humanity with the fear of Allah as all souls must test Death.
In an interview with journalists, former Director of Administration, Lokoja Local Government, Engineer Farouk Danladi Yahaya,prayed Allah to forgive muhammad Danasabe all his shortcomings, grant him janatul-firdaus.
The prayer service was attended by APC chairman Lokoja local government, Hon Maikudi Bature, top Local Government staff, Islamic clerics and the deceased former personal staff among many others.
