Honourable Mu’azam Bashir,a Chieftain of APC in ward D, Lokoja local government, Monday organised special prayer for the reposed of the executive chairman of Lokoja local government, late Hon. muhammad Danasabe Muhammad who passed away last Friday at Shifa Hospital Lokoja,after a brief illness.
Late Dan Kano Mosque unguwan Kura,was full of sympathizers who came to mourn and pray for the reposed of Muhammad Danasabe Muhammad.
The prayer which was led by khalifa Yahaya Babadoko Soje had in attendance prominent APC leaders,led by Hon Maikudi Bature, APC Lokoja local government chairman,the Hakimi of ward D, Malam Isah Baba Nasidi,supervisory Council Of Education, Hon. Hamisu Dan Musa and Chief Protocol to Speaker Kogi state House of assembly,hon Salisu Datti among many.
Speaking to our reporter, Mu’azam Bashir described the late Chairman as a fantastic leader who had the love of his people at heart and died serving the community selflessly.
He appealed to leaders, especially political office holders to emulate Hon. Muhammad Danasabe Muhammad Stressing that the deceased had played his part and left the stage honourably.
He commended the chairman of SUBEB,comrade Abdullah Suleiman Ndalayi, whom he described as a philanthropist, APC leader and mobilizer.
APC Chairman Bature in his remarks, said the community would surely miss the late Chairman, Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed, who had contributed immensely to the development of Lokoja Local Government area.
He said “Chairman was a great friend and adviser who was passionate about mankind and also played his part with respect to the progress of the community”.
Earlier, Khalifa Soje in his sermon admonished leaders to serve humanity with the fear of Allah.
“We must serve with fear of Allah,we must work towards unity,peace and development of our people before the day of Reckoning” he said.
He prayed to Allah to forgive muhammad Danasabe Muhammad all his shortcomings, grant him janatul-firdaus.
To the families,friends and the entire Lokoja Local Government,Soje prayed Allah to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable lost.
