The police command in Lagos has arrested three suspected fraudsters at the Iyana Church bus stop area of the state.
The three suspects are Orji Chinedu, Uche Godwin, and Ifeoma Nathaniel.
In a statement on Wednesday, Benjamin Hundeyin, police spokesperson in Lagos, said the suspects usually use a Toyota Camry to transport passengers.
Hundeyin said the suspects would initiate a discussion during the trip about foreign currency to defraud unsuspecting passengers.

“The suspects ran out of luck when some persons recognized them and raised an alarm,” Hundeyin said.
“On receipt of the information, police officers from Sabo division raced to the scene, arrested the suspects and recovered their operational vehicle.
“Investigation revealed that after the suspects picked up passengers, they would deliberately start an argument about dollars in the boot, making unsuspecting victims intervene in the argument, and subsequently get defrauded.”
The Lagos police spokesperson said the suspects will be arraigned at the conclusion of the investigation.
