•••Reiterates Their Commitments To Deliver

Stakeholders from across the Four Wards in Kogi local government area,which consist of Odaki,Ukwo and Girinya Wards on Wednesday held a leadership and stakeholders meeting.
The meeting which was held at Central Primary School Koton Karfe, under the leadership Hon. (Dr). Saidu Akawu Salihu (SAS) APC leader,Kogi local government according to the communique was to drum support for the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Akawu,who was overwhelmed with the large turnout, expressed confidence that APC in kogi local government area under his leadership has finally got it acts together stressing that the party would deliver the APC flagbearer Alhaji Usman Ododo come November 11 Governorship election.
Akawu who holds the traditional title of Galadima of Igu, noted that the emergence of Alhaji Ododo as the APC governorship standard-bearer has sent strong signal to the opposition parties not only in kogi local government, but the state at large, added that the game is over as the opposition elusive dreams of occupying Lugard House would end come November 11, 2023.
He appealed to APC supporters on the need to remain united and work hard. “We must work very hard to sing victory song in November 2023,” he said, adding that with the caliber of leaders and followers from zone A, it’s a clear indication that APC is now more formidable” he maintained
In his own contributions, the executive chairman,Kogi local governments, Hon. Dauda Aliyu urged Kogi voters to get ready to use their ballots in 2023 to usher in APC administration to consolidate on the good governance and exponential development of Governor Yahaya Bello.
“We must vote Ododo and our votes will count in 2023,” the chairman said,
The meeting was attended by APC leader, Hon Sai’du Akawu Salihu, executive chairman Kogi local government area, Hon Daudà Aliyu and the lawmaker representing state constituency.Hon. Idrees Aliyu Maikudi.
Others are: SSA on Data Collection, Hon. Abdullahi Idowu Suleiman, SSA on Youth Development II, Hon. Muhammed Idris
(Black Man) and Kogi LGT Chief( Dr) Yusuf Ohikwura Abdullahi.
Also in attendance were: the Kogi LG chief of staff Hon. A Muhammad Danjuma. Chief of staff to Rt. Hon. Speaker, Kogi State House Of Assembly Hon. IU Lawal.
All the three wards party Chairman, three wards Councilors and Hajiya Maimunat Iyami Amongst many.
Highlights of the event includes, defections of SDP supporters to the ruling APC.
