The former Senator representing Kogi West senatorial District, Senator Smart Adeyemi,on Tuesday presented another a brand new Car to his Media Aide ,Femi Adeleye as a farewell gift.
Adeleye who served the former lawmaker in the 9th Assembly, recently secured new appointment.
Femi who worked as the media aid to Senator Adeyemi. While in office, Adeleye had previously received a car gift from the Senator. However this was a Jeep and given the recent increase in fuel price, the Senator thought it wise to get him a utility car as a goodwill gift .
The presentation was made by Mr Kayode Olorumotito, personal Assistant to Senator Adeyemi.
Kayode while presenting the key to Femi,thanked the former aide stressing that the senator’s gift was in appreciation of his meritorious service, loyalty and as a measure for him to run around after leaving office and to lessen the burden of fueling the jeep which he can now use sparingly as he pleases.
“The Senator wishes Femi success in his future endeavors.”, Kayode noted.
In addition to the car, the Senator also presented a “handsome token” to Femi for the vehicle maintenance for his time and efforts in the 9th Senate.
