The All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA) has said it is prepared to take the Lugard House the seat of power in Kogi State in the November 11, 2023 governorship election.
The APGA deputy governorship candidate in the state, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa Yakubu said this in an interview with ThEANLYSTNG in Lokoja on Friday.
Yakubu,a former PDP chieftain in kogi state, said investment in human capital development in the state is zero, pointing out that Kogi people were being impoverished, while the political actors were living in affluence.
He said with his 30 years experience in politics and public sectors, an APGA government in the state would focus on human capital development, the economy, security and prosperity of the citizens.
He noted that things had gone wrong because leaders of the state over the years were not well equipped for the job, pointing out that APGA was prepared to fill that gap and deliver real democratic dividends.
Yakubu also promised that the APGA governorship candidate will bring on board youths, women and the physically challenged to be a major part of his administration, even as he called on Kogi Electorates to rally round APGA governorship candidate to salvage the state.
