An Open Letter To Gov.Yahaya Bello: A Call For The Rehabilitation Of Kabawa – Unguwan Kura Road.

By Abubakar Datti

I want to use this medium to call on the attention of the Kogi State Government on the above subject matter that is of utmost importance to us as a Community.

You’ll recall that Kogi is a prone area for flooding, whenever this occur it cut most of the state and federal roads in the state, this is not far from the KABAWA -ANGUWAN KURA that served as the alternative Road whenever it floods in the state.

The communities along this road for several years have been undergoing difficulties due to the deplorable conditions SADAUNA JUNCTION-UNGUWAN KURA – AREA COMMAND’S OFFICE In Karaworo.

The 2012 flood and the 2022 is much fresh in our hearts, we’ve pleaded both in writing and in different fora, drawing the attention of the authority, but to our dismayed, attention is been giving to other roads that are less importance to this very road, if the Kabawa -Anguwan Kura Road is addressed today, this will serve as a great achievement to the day Government.

It may interest His Excellency to know that from unguwan Kura to Maigari palace junction, there are over SEVEN POLLING UNITS,which constitutes 95% of the total of registered voters in ward D.

As November governorship election approaches, construction of this road would contribute to the success of the ruling APC in the area.
