Ganduje Swears Six New National Working Committee, Zonal Members

The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)and former Governor of Kano state, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has stressed the need for unity among the rank and file of party leaders and members in order to provide the desired political leadership for the country.

Ganduje made the called shortly after inaugurating six newly elected members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and a zonal organising secretary on Friday at the NWC Hall of the party’s national secretariat.

The newly sworn- in members are: Deputy National Chairman, North (North East Zone) – Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori (Borno State)
National Vice Chairman, North West (North West Zone) – Hon. Garba Datti Muhammad (Kaduna State, and National Legal Adviser (North Central Zone,Prof. Abdul Karim Abubakar Kana (Nasarawa State)

Others includes;, National Welfare Secretary (South East Zone) – Hon. Donatus Nwankpa (Abia State) National Women Leader (South South Zone) – Mary Alile Idele, PhD (Edo State) and Deputy National Publicity Secretary (North Central Zone) – Duro Meseko,while Ikani Shuiabu Okolo, from Kogi state would serve as the Zonal Organising Secretary (North Central Zone.

The inauguration came on the heels of the approval of the nominations of the officers by NWC at its meeting on Wednesday, amid protests from the Abia, Cross River and Kogi states chapters of the party.
