As the Kogi state APC prepares for November 11, Guber election, major stakeholders in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi local government area who converged in Koton karfe on Sunday for a crucial meeting said they would mobilize and ensure that the APC Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is impressively voted for in the area to win the November 11 Guber election.
Speaking with journalists at the end of the Stakeholders meeting held at the Local Government Secretariat along Abuja road, leader of the party in the area and former commissioner of water resources, Hon Sai’idu Akawu Salihu (SAS) said , ‘’We will not just deliver but to deliver very impressively. Of cause that gives us responsibility to work very hard, so we have a long strategy session that was why you saw all the stakeholders including political office holders, women and youths across the eleven wards in attendance ” the former lawmakers said.
Also speaking,state commissioner for Solid Mineral mineral and natural resources,Engineer Abubakar Bashir Gegu, said that in the person of Ahmed Usman Ododo, the people of Kogi local government are committed and dedicated themselves to campaign and win the forthcoming November governorship election.
“That in the person of Ahmed Usman Ododo our flagbearer, we have committed and dedicated ourselves to the campaigns we intend to mobilize, our leaders, our youth, our women and everyone in kogi Local Government area to vote APC come November 11 Guber election.”
Gegu pointed out that the APC is the largest party in kogi Local Government area with largest register voters stressing that the leaders intend to mobilize voters to vote our candidate come November 11 Guber election.
The executive chairman,Kogi local government council, Hon. Ali Dauda in his remarks,called on the people of the area to support APC candidate
Dauda,who reminded party faithful that the election is very near and they are expected to be proactive added: ‘’We are working ahead of time to be proactive and to sensitise our people on the need to vote our candidate”he said.
The meeting was attended by Galadima of Igu ,Hon Sai’du Akawu Salihu, former lawmkers, Barr. Tanko Musa Osoku,chairman Kogi state civil service commission and host of others.
