The Court, in striking out the suit, agreed with the submission of counsel to Governor Bello that an incompetent originating process cannot be amended.

Akpoti-Uduaghan, last November, dragged the Kogi State Governor and others to court for allegedly defaming her character.

She claimed N5 billion damages over a publication where the state government called on security agencies to invite her for questioning over public defence of an alleged terror suspect.

According to the PDP senatorial candidate, the publication was a dent on her reputation.
