Group drums support for Vice Admiral Jibrin’s guber ambition in Kogi

The ambition of former Chief of Naval staff ,Usman Oyibe Jibrin to become the next governor of Kogi state received a boost over the weekend as a group known as the Igala Patriotic Youth Coalition (IPYC), formally declare there support as they began sensitisation programmes for the people to know where to cast their votes.

The group, in a communiqué issued and signed by its President, Hon Sam Adejo and its spokesperson, Abdullah Ocheni respectively after a meeting of the group in Lokoja over the weekend, said Jibrin remains the candidate to beat is the best among those who are coming out to vie for the position at this moment.

“Usman Jibrin is ready to make Kogi State a better home for us. He is a man who knows when to set aside the important things in order to accomplish the vital ones; He is a man that always wants the success of others.

In term of security,the Accord party candidate been a retired Naval Chief he’ll tackle the insecurity bedevilling Kogi state.

The group therefore appealed to kogites to join the crusade of installing a government of unity ,peace and development under the leadership of retired Admiral Usman Oyibe Jibrin.
