Distinguished,Ladies and Gentlemen.
Permit me to welcome you all to this press briefing this afternoon. The press briefing is organised by Kogi West Agenda Forum as a rejoinder to the press conference held on the 19th of April 2023 at Nuj press center,Lokoja by one Mr. Kamal Toyin of an unknown, unregistered, unrecognised and leader of acclaimed sociopolitical group with a purported name “ljumu APC Progressive Minds” calling for the expulsion the senator representing Kogi West senatorial District, Distinguished Sen. Smart Adeyemi, CON, from APC.
Ordinarily we would have ignored the faceless organisation led by unknown Kamal Toyin, in order to set the records straight and debunk the insinuation peddled by the so called “ljumu APC Retrogressive Minds” which is a misinformation, misleading presentation and heating up the polity, by quoting the Distinguished Sen. Smart Adeyemi out of context. For the avoidance of doubt, Mr. Kamal Toyin,whom we believed to be unsound is not a registered member of our great Party, APC, as we believe he is been sponsored by anti- democratic forces from the other side of the fence, he’s a serial betrayer and unreliable personality to be distanced and avoided. He is a well-known political Joker,an unsound minded person, whose trade in stocks still remains blackmail and hired rumours pedaler,who can do every dirty job that may earn him money against his reputation which he’s lacking.
For the records and posterity, Distinguished Sen. Smart Adeyemi, CON has been a loyal servant, reliable representative of the good people of Kogi West Senatorial District who at no time has he disobeyed constituted authorities at any levels of government or party hierarchy.
He has contributed immensely and still contributing to the well-being of the people of his constituents and the state in general.
Who Is this Distinguished Sen. Smart Adeyemi? This is a Personality representative who has traversed the length and breadth of North Central Geopolitical Zone of Nigeria during the APC National Presidential campaigns to woo voters and Party faithfuls using his personal hard earned resources to ensure success and victory to APC, other flag bearers and Nigeria’s President-Elect, His Excellency, Distinguished Sen. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. How then, can anyone claim that this Same Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi goes against his Party? It’s unthinkable and absurd. Let the naysayers proof him otherwise.
To Distinguished Sen. Smart Adeyemi, what is paramount on his mind, is to see a renewed hope in Kogi State and continuation of sustainable development in our clime. Distinguished Sen. Smart Adeyemi stands with the Party, APC and will do anything humanly possible within his reach to maintain the tempo which he is known for.
Finally, Kogi West Agenda Forum, wish to use this medium to pass a vote of confidence on the Distinguished Senator representing the good, humble and loyal people of Kogi West Senatorial District, While stating the obvious that, the Press statement issued on Wednesday 19 April, 2023 by one Mr. Kamal Toyin of a purported “ijumu APC Progressive Minds” a faceless organisation led by a yeoman , Kamal Toyin are Concocted, false and a fallacy. Kamal Toyin and his sponsors will not distract me from seeking for justice equity fairness for my people as the struggle would continue unabated.
