Dignitaries, Islamic clerics, Politicians Eulogise Late Ramatu Abdulsalam

The NNPP senatorial candidate for Kogi West in February elections, Hon. Abubakar Ibuku Muhammed
and other dignitaries have eulogised late Malama Ramatu Abdulsalam popularly known as Ya’Larai, who passed away last week at the ripe age of 63.

The death of the deceased was described as a great loss to the entire Madabo and Lokoja community by bigwigs at the Fidau prayers held on Sunday in Lokoja,Kogi state.

Bukky said late Ramatu was a good mother not only to her children, but to the entire children that came across her.

“Mama never discriminated, she took us as her sons and she always gave us motherly advice that is presently assisting us in our entire human endeavour.”

He admonished the children to continue to be upright and not to lose faith in Allah.

Member- Elect ,Lokoja 1 Constituency,HON. Tijjani Shehu Bin-Ebiya in his remark thanked Allah for a life well spent by late the deceased and described her death as a great loss not only to her immediate family,but to the entire community.

The eldest son of the deceased, Malam Gimba Abdulsalam expressed profound appreciation to all present for attending the eight days Fidau prayer of his late mother.

Abdulsalam described the death of the mother, Malama Ramatu Abdulsalam,as a great loss not only to the family but to the entire community.

He said the children would continue to carry on with the selfless service to humanity and to God among other good legacies his mother left behind.

The chief Imam of Lokoja Sheikh Muhammadu Aminu Sha’aban,who presided over the prayer session admonished the children to continue to be upright and not to lose faith in Allah.

He prayed for the reposed of late Malama Ramatu,who he described as a religious and upright woman.

“May Allah forgive her all her shortcomings, grant her janatul-firdaus and grant the families the fortitude to Sha’aban bear the irreplaceable lost” Sha’aban prayed.

The prayer which took place at Madabo residence of the deceased, was attended by the chairman of Danko Development Forum, Alhaji Bama Mundi, Prince Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi, Shatima Lokoja, Hon Muhammed mabo Kasim, former chairman of Lokoja Local Government,Hon. Shiru Lawal, Lokoja 1 Constituency member -elect,Hon. Tijjani Shehu Bin-Ebiya and Hakimi of wards C and D respectively.

Others includes: the Tafida( DAUDU) Dare, Muhammad Alfa Dare,Chief Imam of Unguwan Kura juma’a mosque, sheikh Abubakar Adamu, Ustaz Ibrahim Nyass Yusuf Abdullah, politicians and a host of Others.
