Members of Kogi Youth For Good Governance (KYGG) in kogi state held a press briefing in Lokoja the state capital on Saturday to drum support for the Gubernatorial Ambition of Hon. Friday Idachaba under the platform of All progressives Congress (APC)
Leader of the Group,Comrade Adebayo Olu and it Secretary,Comrade Omeiza Ibrahim,said that Ndachaba is the only leader among other governorship Aspirants that could sustain the legacy projects of His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello, boost the economic, political, security and educational of Kogi state.
He said that the reason for the press briefing was to drum support for Idachaba who he described as a man of multiple capacities who has a lot of experience to pilot the affairs of the state.
Olu said that KYGG, is well established in 21 Local Government areas of the state and have declared its support for Hon. Friday Idachaba in the forthcoming primary election scheduled for April 2023.
He said that the group has unanimously agreed that Friday Ndachaba remained the best alternative among all of the Governorship aspirants having been insider for almost eight years .
“What the state needs now is a courageous leader, like His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello, who can take political decisions that will make the state stable and better in all ramifications.”
“We in KYGG had been in a dilemma of who to support in the 2023 Guber elections, so in order to get out of the menace of the political debacle that was the reason we formed the group and came to the conclusion to support Hon. Friday Idachaba” he said.
According to Comrade Olu, “members of the KYGG Decide to ensure effective mobilization for the Idachaba guber project as they will embark on a door-to-door campaign across the 21 Local Government areas .”
According to him, “Friday I dachaba has all the qualities required of a leader who can sustain the legacy projects of Governor Yahaya Bello. We will ensure that the 2023 primary elections were conducted smoothly and hitch-free after which Ndachaba will emerge as the next Governor of Kogi state”. he affirmed.
