The Sadauna of Kakanda Kingdom, Alhaji Tijjani Aliyu,
has described the death of Marafa of Budon, Alhaji Muhammad Bajini, as a great lost not only to his immediate family, but to the entire kakanda Kingdom and Kogi state in general.
Aliyu stated this on Wednesday while condoling the paramount ruler of Kakanda Kingdom,HRH, Malam Muhammadu Sani Alhassan, the Agankyu of Kakanda and people of Kogi State following the passage of the elder statesman, who died on Tuesday at an Abuja hospital.
In a statement he sent to THEANALYSTNG on Wednesday,Aliyu who holds the traditional title of Sadauna of Kakanda Kingdom, said:
“On behalf of the myself and my family, I am extending our condolences to the HRH. the Agankyu of Kakanda Kingdom,Malam Muhammad Sani Alhassan and the people of the state over the death of our revered father and Marafa of Kakanda Kingdom, Alhaji Muhammad Bijani,who passed away when we needed him the most,” Sadauna said.
“We really lost a great, amiable, humble, exceptionally disciplined and righteous Father who believes in creating a harmonious relationship between the traditional institution and the public. We indeed lost a rare gem of all fronts,” he emphasized.
“May Allah forgive all his shortcomings in life. May Jannatul Fiddaus be his final abode in the hereafter. May Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala assist what he left to continue following his footsteps,” he prayed.
