The alleged attack on Buhari in Kano is a figment of the PDP’s imagination

By Musa Aliyu Nasidi

The presidential campaign council of the ruling party Congress of all progressives (APC) has debunked a rumor of an alleged attack on President Muhammadu Buhari during his visit to Kano on Monday.

President Buhari had visited the state at the invitation of the state governor, Umar Ganduje, to help commission some projects that were implemented by the state government.

During the visit, however, the PDP through its national spokesperson, Debo Ologunagba, in a press release on Monday, alleged that some scoundrels, allegedly sponsored by APC, attacked Mr. Buhari.

The statement blamed Ganduje and APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu for masterminding the alleged attack.

The statement noted that “the organized attack against the person of the president is openly treasonous and sacrilegious to our national sovereignty, which must be condemned by all.”

APC PCC rebukes PDP, says party is drowning

In a quick reaction to the PDP’s statement, the APC PCC pointed out that the alleged attack on the president in Kano is the figment of the PDP spokesman’s imagination.

The campaign council, in a statement signed by its director of media and publicity Bayo Onanuga, on Thursday called on Nigerians to “ignore these fake news from a party that has lost touch with reality and is suffering the agony of violating its own rules on the rotation of power”. .”

The statement pointed out that the PDP is a drowning party that feverishly grasps at any drop of lies and lashes out in all delusional directions to stay afloat, but it will sink.

We are not surprised to read about the imaginary attack on the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by the Peoples’ Democratic Party, as the party has nothing tangible to tell Nigerians about its crumbling presidential campaign.

This fabricated attack on President Muhammadu Buhari must have occurred only in the fertile imagination of the PDP’s national publicity secretary, Debo Ologunagba.

Nigerians should ignore this fake news from a party that has lost touch with reality and suffers the agony of violating its own rules on the rotation of power.

Just as it has been planning fake news against the APC presidential candidate and trying in vain to cause discord in the APC family, we believe that the party may have planned to embarrass President Buhari in Kano and then blame the host governor Ganduje and Tinubu.

This is because the PDP has recently gone from being a virulent critic of Buhari to becoming a bizarre mouthpiece for Buhari! He last time he issued a self-serving misinterpretation of the Asíwájú statement in Abeokuta as an attack on President Buhari.

It should be quite obvious to Nigerians that the knowledge of the PDP’s impending defeat in the upcoming presidential election has thrust the party and its candidate into a frenzied mind-boggling mode of litany of absurd, ludicrous, ludicrous lies and fabrications against APC and its candidate.

The PDP is a drowning party that feverishly claws at any drop of lies and lashes out at all delusional directions to stay afloat, but it will sink.

We believe that Nigerians are not fooled by bland antics.

The PDP now runs the most unethical, pernicious and inelegant, abusive, meddling and nationally divisive campaign in the history of electoral campaigning in Nigeria.

The other day it was the PPD candidate Atiku who, in frustration, publicly stated that the north should not vote for anyone outside the region. It’s the same trend that has characterized the PDP campaign ever since.

Without a doubt, that is a sign of defeat and willingness to sacrifice the unity of this country on the altar of excessive and unbridled ambition.

Nigerians are wiser and would never allow the DPP centrifugal forces to bring down our nation with them. All men and women of good conscience should rise up and use their votes to send the PPD and its band of outlaws to the dustbin of history where they rightfully belong.

Contrary to the fabrication of the PDP, President Buhari was warmly welcomed in Kano State today by the good people and the state government, where he commissioned eight high-impact projects, including a sky bridge with underpass and a cancer center.

On Sunday, we alerted the nation to the PDP’s plot to orchestrate and execute many evil plans to smear, ridicule and delegitimize President Muhammadu Buhari and our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Goodwill Nigerians will have seen by now that we did not raise a false alarm in our statement issued on January 29, 2023, where we detailed the evil machinations of the PDP and its mercenaries.

It is not impossible for the PDP, through its paid agents, to organize bad guys to stage an attack. But we are confident that the security agencies are capable of thwarting any planned attack on the president and anyone caught up in such a profane plot now or in the future will have themselves to blame.

We call on the security agencies, especially the Police and the Department of State Services, to immediately arrest the PDP’s National Publicity Secretary for questioning about this imaginary attack.
