The Kogi State Commissioner For solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Bashiru Gegu has Voted in Kogi West Senatorial district of Kogi State.
The Commissioner voted in Gegu, with voting commencing at about 8 am on Saturday morning as voters trooped out to cast their vote for their respective candidates.
The Nigerian Post witnessed a deluge of electorate who queued to vote for their respective candidate in polling units of Kogi LGA.
In one of the polling units in Gegu Beki, Engr. Bashiru cast his votes, lauded the INEC for the seamless process.
He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for a good job, praised the electorate for their orderly manner.
He said the electronic system introduced especially BVAS for the general election is commendable.
He also thanked the electorate for maintaining law and order stressing that so far election is peaceful in the area.
The Commissioner praised the election process in his Polling unit, described it as peaceful, expressed optimism of an APC overwhelming victory.
