The leading candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) for Kogi Western Senatorial District, Hon. Mohammed Ibukun Abubakar, has said that his candidature is borne out of selfish interest but liberate the people of Lokoja/ Koton-Karfe Federal Constituency from the shackles of perpetual slavery and denial.
The awaiting Senator made this statements during campaign tour of communities through Jamata, Gbongboro, Atsawa, Apata, Budon among others.
He stated that as it stands we have all takes to take the senatorial position considering the available statistics on the number of the registered voters noting that this struggle is basically a collective responsibility we must all team up to attain.
