Co-ordinator of Independent campaign Council for (ICC) Tinubu-Shatima and a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress APC, in Kogi State,Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar Gamji has debunked the news making the round that he has purchased the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Governorship nomination form for kogi state.
In a statement he personally signed and obtained by THEANALYSTNG in Lokoja, on Saturday, Gamji noted that he couldn’t have obtain the nomination form without informing his teaming supporters and other critical stakeholders in the state who believed in his leadership.
Gamji who hold the position of Kogi APC elders Forum, said as chairman of Kogi elders forum, the group has contributed money towards the purchase of nomination form for the Secretary of Tinubu-Shetima Campaign counci Secretary, Honourable James Abiodun Faleke to contest the Governorship primary election scheduled for April 2023 .
He stressed that it is the right of any kogi indigene to aspire for any political office in the land, hence their support for one of them.
According to Gamji:”The beauty of democracy is the participation of qualify people in democratic process, it may interest you to remember that during the APC presidential primary some friends of Asiwaju contested the primaries With him but as soon as there is a winner everybody collapse into his mandate” he said.
He called on all his supporters to be calm and discountenanced the rumour that he has procured a nomination form.
