The Hakimi of ward D, Malam Isah Baba Nasidi,has described Nupe Youth Development Forum,Lokoja local government branch as the most peaceful community contributing to the socio-economic development of the area and Lokoja emirate council for a long time.
Nasidi made this known while receiving the leadership of the forum led by it Chairman and Secretary, Comrade Muhammed Saidu and musim Alhaji Man, who paid him a courtesy visit at his palace in Lokoja.
The Hakimi commended the forum and Nupe community in the Emirate for living in peace with their hosts, calling on them across the state to be law-abiding citizens as well as continue to support and cooperate with the governments at all levels.
On his part, Comrade Saidu explained that they were in the Hakimi’s place to explain the aims and objectives of the forum which includes, promotion of peace and unity among various tribes in the community and to appreciate the traditional rulers whose roles can’t be overemphasized
He therefore assured of their cooperation to the Hakimi , Lokoja Emirate council, adding that they would continue to give contributions towards improving the socio-economic development of the area.
Saidu further said the Nupe Youth Development Forum has many things in common and mutual relations in the areas of religion, intermarriage and many more.
He called on members of his community living in ward D to be law-abiding citizens and be brothers in peace.
