The above non governmental Organisation, Lukongi Foundation (LF) will hold it 1st Public lecture /presentation of Awards to some deserving citizens who excel in their various areas of endeavour.
According to a statement released in Lokoja and obtained by THEANALYSTNG, on Monday, signed by Barr. Umar Esq,the event is scheduled to take place on Monday, the 26th of December 2022 at the Lokoja Youth Council Town Hall, opposite Crowther Memorial College (CMC),Lokoja, Kogi State.
Umar Futher stated that LF, would also launch an appeal fund for the construction of Police Post (Station)at Kabawa,in Lokoja Local Government Area.
Part of the statement Reads: ” Other activities lineup includes; Lecture series with the Theme: “YOUTH RESTIVENESS IN LOKOJA: A MULTIDIMENSIONAL APPROACH” to be delivered by Dr M. A . Makaji fismo, the Galadima of Kupa land…
Special Guest of honour, Hajiya (Dr) Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, Honourable minister of federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Yahaya Abdulkadir, Hakimi of ward E, would be the guest of honour.
Others are : Alhaji Ali Lawal,the Maiyaki of Lokoja, as representative of Lokoja traditional council, Hajiya Marka Yahaya Abbas, mother of the day while Alhaji Adam Yahaya, Chairman, SBA FOUNDATION, will be the chairman of the occasion..
The executive Chairman, Lokoja Local Government council, Hon. Muhammed Danasabe Muhammed,Chief Host , Chief launcher is Alhaji Aminu Muhammed, CEO,ADT Motors, Benin city, Edo State, be assisted (Co-laucher) by Hon Chief Ibrahim Sulaiman, while DSO Lokoja local government and Chigari of Kakanda, Malam Yusuf Abubakar will be the doyen of the ceremony.
Presenters are: ustaz Mansur,
Nayashi,Malam Imam Nma Shuiabu and Malam Muhammed Bature among others.
Some of the awardees according to Barr Umar, includes, former Director of Local Government Administration,Lokoja local government, Engineer Danladi Yahaya Farouk and Aminu Isah,a lecturer with Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi State” the statement concluded.
