A Non Governmental Organisation, Like Minds Lokoja,on Thursday, donated food items worths thousands of Naira to Margret Garba Ohiani Orphanage Home, Lokoja, Kogi State.
Presenting the gifts, Chairman of the Forum,Mr Constant Lakpini, said the forum was formed to assist the less privileged amongst the society, especially orphans.
He disclosed that the exercise was part of the activities lineup to mark the end of the year program design by the association.
“Our visit to Garba Ohiani Orphanage today is to meet our children, celebrate, wish them Christmas in advance and present them with some token gift ahead of Christmas and New year festivities ” Lakpini said.
Earlier,Mrs Aaron Adebayo, while receiving the items thanked the association.
She commended the Association for the good gestures and appealed to individuals and organisations to emulate Like Minds Lokoja by assisting the less privileged, especially orphans.
Item donated includes Noodles ,Rice , cooking oil Among many.
